Philadelphia’s Grayscale dropped by Rock Sound earlier this week to debut their newest music video; showing off a hospital dance party set to the band’s song “Baby Blue.” The song is track two off of their upcoming album, Nella Vita, out September 6th through Fearless Records. Watch “Baby Blue” below!
Taking influence from everything from funk to techno to rock, Grayscale shows off a high energy dance tune in “Baby Blue,” all with the somber lyrics of a tearful farewell to round out the storytelling within the video. “This is a song about saying goodbye to someone after years of silence,” the band said. “It’s about regret and realizing in the moment that what kept you apart was dumb and wasn’t worth the exile of one another.”
Grayscale recently completed a tour-de-force week of pop-up shows all across the country, and now, they’re preparing to drop their second album and head out on their headlining tour this September. New videos have been emerging left and right ahead of Nella Vita‘s release next week. Their tracks In Violet and Painkiller Weather have also had releases to hype the upcoming LP, showing off the connectivity of the album and the wide array of genres that have inspired Grayscale’s music. All in all, the band is ready to show off their latest work and to stun audiences all across America throughout the next few weeks. Nella Vita is out September 6th, 2019 through Fearless Records, and the Grayscale’s tour begins September 3rd in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
