Celebrated vocalists Josh Groban and Kelly Clarkson teamed up for a Broadway duet that stunned viewers. The collaboration happened during Groban's Stages Live program, broadcast as a PBS special. The show highlighted notable songs from musical theater, including the famous "All I Ask of You" from The Phantom of the Opera, performed together by Groban and Clarkson.

Groban has always loved Broadway, and his album Stages turned this passion into reality. This collection contains various theatrical hits he longed to perform. He stated, "Theater and musical theater have always been in my heart. These are songs I've wanted to sing since I was in high school."

For "All I Ask of You," Groban needed an exceptional female vocalist to play Christine, and he selected Kelly Clarkson for this role. Soon after, Clarkson entered the stage wearing an elegant black dress. She shares Groban's love for Broadway, and The Phantom of the Opera was actually the first musical she ever watched.

"All I Ask of You" portrays a romantic exchange between characters Raoul and Christine Daaé. Kelly told the audience she had always dreamed of playing Christine, and thanks to Groban, this dream came true.

Groban's exceptional vocal skills showed why he has captivated so many fans, with audience members visibly moved while listening. When Clarkson began her part, her voice sent shivers through the venue, proving her talent for musical theater performance.
