Lady Gaga fans were surprised with a special guest appearance at her show in Las Vegas. The singer and her film partner Bradley Cooper performed the hit “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born” together for the first time.

Was Bradley Cooper really as surprised as he appeared to be? Or had Lady Gaga given him a heads-up? That will remain a secret. Cooper had actually settled into the VIP section to watch his co-star Lady Gaga's concert in Las Vegas. But then the Hollywood star was brought on stage by his A Star Is Born co-star to show off his singing talent in front of a live audience.

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper singing live

The audience in Las Vegas was able to witness a premiere. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, who play the musical couple Ally and Jackson Maine in the Hollywood romance, had never performed the film's title song, “Shallow,” together before. But there is always a first time. And so the famous singer took the opportunity at her Enigma concert to invite her film colleague to sing with her.

“Bradley, do you want to come up and do this?” Gaga asked in front of the cheering fans. Visibly surprised and somewhat hesitant, the actor made his way onto the stage, where the ‘A Star Is Born’ actress personally plugged him into the equipment. Cooper did not let himself be unsettled by the action, whether spontaneous or not, and professionally and with lot of passion, he played the first notes of the song.

Goosebumps and big emotions

The duet of “Shallow” gave the screaming crowd goosebumps. The duo performed the song full of emotion, repeatedly exchanging loving glances. At times she kneeled devotedly before him, then he stared at her enthusiastically as she sang. He later encouraged the fans to cheer along and played air guitar. Shortly before the end, Cooper sat down with the singer and lovingly put his arm around her waist.

Online fans also celebrate Cooper's performance

While the audience can't stop cheering, fans online are also praising the performance. The general reaction: pure goosebumps! They especially love the chemistry between the two stars and Bradley Cooper's coolness.

“Shallow” is an Oscar nominee

Lady Gaga, together with Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt, has already won a Golden Globe for Best Film Song for “Shallow”. The song has also been nominated for an Academy Award in this category, as well as for several Grammys. The film has received a total of eight Oscar nominations, including in the categories of “Best Picture”, “Best Actor” and “Best Actress”.

In addition, the film couple's performance was praised to the skies by critics and fans alike. And now they have crowned their collaboration with a memorable performance together.
