How would the genuine Adele perform when auditioning as an Adele impersonator? Quite successfully, one would think, but she would require an effective disguise to succeed, particularly when surrounded by her most devoted fans! Working with Graham Norton, Adele underwent facial alterations - her chin was reformed, her nose modified, and her lips thinned to go incognito and try out as a regular person named "Jenny." The other Adele impersonators present that day showed a range of emotions from amazement to joy to skepticism when they realized Jenny wasn't actually who she claimed to be.

If you've never witnessed Adele in concert, you're missing something special. She's famous for her stunning songwriting, genuine personality, and exceptional live vocals that give listeners worldwide goosebumps. During a show broadcast on CBS and Paramount+ on November 14, 2021, the British vocalist performed songs from her latest album. When this performance occurred, the audience had never heard these new tracks, making this event particularly special.

The television recording featured interview segments with Oprah Winfrey, an American TV host who was visible in the audience enjoying the live show too. The concert took place at Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, situated on Mount Hollywood's south-facing slope. This stunning location served as a perfect backdrop for such a high-profile event.

The music wasn't the only impressive display that evening. Adele had the venue lower its lighting as Fenton and his soon-to-be wife Ashley, who wore ear protection and a blindfold, walked onto the stage and got engaged. This proposal video has gone viral online, described as "the best proposal ever." That's hard to top, gentlemen, isn't it?

Adele then performed several more live versions of songs from her previous three albums: 19 (2008), 21 (2011), and 25 (2015). The broadcast attracted 10.3 million viewers, making it the most-watched TV special since the April 2021 Oscars. The celebrity-filled audience included James Corden, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lizzo, Drake, Selena Gomez, Tyler Perry, Donald Glover, Melissa McCarthy, Gayle King, Nicole Richie, Gabrielle Union, Seth Rogen, Molly Shannon, Ellen DeGeneres, Sarah Paulson, Holland Taylor, Aaron Paul, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Gordon Ramsay, Dwyane Wade, Kris Jenner, and Ava DuVernay.
