This performance truly pulls at the heartstrings. The Poppy Girls delivered a poignant rendition of "The Call" during the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance. Their magnificent delivery captivated audiences, but the unexpected finale became the highlight of the evening.

Each member has a father serving in the British Armed Forces, adding profound meaning to their performance. Florence and Megan began with heavenly voices, followed by Alice, Charlotte, and Bethany who completed the breathtaking vocal arrangement. Their sweet voices combined with genuine delivery almost certainly brings moisture to viewers' eyes.

The most heartwarming moment occurred at the conclusion when Lt Commander Billy Adams made an unanticipated entrance, prompting his daughter Megan to rush tearfully from stage into his embrace. The crowd applauded as they reunited, and the raw emotion displayed on Megan's face conveyed everything words could not.

The Poppy Girls' version of Regina Spektor's "The Call (No Need To Say Goodbye)" became a YouTube sensation, accumulating 5.4 million views. Viewers were deeply affected, commenting: "This song alone already makes me cry, but then they throw in the little girl running teary-eyed into her father's arms. HEAVY" and "Every single time I tell myself I'm not going to cry and every single time I cry so much."

The group released "The Call" as a charity single benefiting the Royal British Legion, an organization that supports veterans and their families. They gathered again one year after the Festival of Remembrance for a BBC One recording of their single. Their vocal harmony and excellent arrangement showcases their talents perfectly.

The Poppy Girls consisted of five students from Royal Navy, Army, and Air Force families, selected from 1,000 candidates. Formed in 2013 to generate funds for the Royal British Legion, they released a single featuring "The Call (No Need To Say Goodbye)" as the main track, with "Always and Forever" as the B-side.
